WHY RAILA ODINGA AND ADELE ARE SINGING THE SAME SONGS Whoever said that sometimes we are tied together in a single garment of fate no matter where one is in the world was right. It could not have been more appropriate when you think of events in the life of music sensation and multiple Grammys award winner Adele. It gets to be a tale of two people with different backgrounds and experiences almost sharing the same song, perhaps with different tunes when you factor what Prime Minister Raila Odinga has been going through, especially with the Musalia Mudavadi uncertainty in ODM. Martin Luther 1968 and Kenya April 2012

Forty years ago today evening, Martin Luther King Jr would preach his last sermon. Watching him on numerous documentaries as he delivered that sermon tells of a man who was on a reflective but somber mood. It is as though he had a premonition of what would befall him a few days later. The following day, he would be assassinated. On that night as he began his sermon, he asked his listeners to imagine God making him an offer he couldn't refuse: "If I were standing at the beginning of time, with the possibility of general and panoramic view of the whole human history up to now," he said, "and the Almighty said to me, 'Martin Luther King, which age would you like to live in?' - I would take my mental flight by Egypt or across the Red Sea, through the wilderness on toward the Promised Land.
